I have been in the home improvement industry for 30 years, I have covered pretty much everything short of tearing a home down and rebuilding it. I have been with HRSW for the past 8 years. I have watched and participated in the amazing growth our company has experienced during that period of time, helping thousands of customers dreams come true. When I am not at work helping customers, I enjoy golfing. I have won the club championship in my league 3 out of the last 4 years. I have been in the stone industry for close to 15 years. I have always had an interest in interior design and love to create and see visions of designs come together. That coupled with my extensive stone knowledge, has allowed me to assist many clients in transforming their homes. Having been raised in a family business, I have learned firsthand what customer service means, and I am proud that I am able to give that to my clients. I love working at HRSW because they understand the value of providing our clients with the best workmanship in the industry and the highest level of customer service. In my spare time, I love spending time with my husband and two kids. I also enjoy sitting on the beach and reading a good book!

Before coming to HRSW I was in the restaurant business for 24 years. My love of people and helping them pointed me into the direction of home improvement. I have been in this general industry for about 7 years. I recently, over the past couple of years, honed in on stone specifically. I enjoy working at HRSW because of the family atmosphere and enormous amounts of materials we consistently stock and have to offer. In my free time I like to head up north to my place on the lake and relax. I also pride myself on being an automobile enthusiast. Although I am new to the stone industry specifically – I am very seasoned in the service industry. My background in landscaping sales and bartending speaks to my natural ability to connect with people. What drew me to HRSW was first and foremost, their beautiful selection of stone… but also the fact that they pride themselves on being customer service driven. When I’m not at work I enjoy attending live music concerts and playing video games.

I have been in the stone industry for 20+ years, in both importing and fabrication. My years of experience in the stone world have made me extremely knowledgeable about the variety of materials to chose from. I genuinely like the people I work with and enjoy helping the customers make selections that will look beautiful in their home. I am a recent college graduate and am new to the stone industry. I have always had an interest in interior design which I think started by watching HGTV when I was a child. I love getting to see the process of projects, and watch customers’ ideas come to life. I have worked in the restaurant industry for multiple years, and have gained excellent customer service from that. I love working at HRSW because they always put the customer first and continue to make sure customers are happy and satisfied with their experience. I like being a part of a company that is welcoming and very customer oriented. In my free time, I love to read and spend time with family and friends.

I hold an Associate’s Degree in Interior Design and bring a strong background in natural and engineered stone to Hard Rock Stone Works. Before joining the team, I worked at a stone supplier, where I developed deep knowledge of stone characteristics, origins, and best practices for selection and application.
I joined Hard Rock to collaborate more closely with designers, builders, and architects, and I love seeing each project come to life from concept to completion. I’m involved with the Home Builders Association, Professional Women in Building, and proudly serve on the board of Interior Design Society Detroit.
Outside of work, I enjoy backwoods camping with my dogs, cocktails crafted by my husband, and hosting friends and family.

My career in the stone industry started out here at HRSW in 2014. There is something very gratifying about helping people that have an idea of how they want to see their kitchen, or any project, turn into a reality. Being part of the process to see it come to fruition is so rewarding. This industry is a small community of people that live similar lives, and we are all more than happy to help each other. Whether it is in fabricating practices or dealing with the technology changes we are all here for one another! What I love most about HRSW is that it is a grass roots kind of company. It started with two, family focused, friends that grew through hard work and determination. That determination was and still is to exceed the customers experience. The owners continue to make changes to the community through their philanthropy efforts. In my free time I love to volunteer. I also love to spend time with my family and friends. Time is precious!

I started in the stone industry back in 2017 as a measure technician. From there I transitioned into estimating for the commercial project world. What I love most about this job is the opportunity to build relationships outside of the workplace and the quality of work that is put into it. The best part about working for HRSW is my co-workers. It’s easy to connect with people here and that motivates me to do right by my people! Some of my hobbies outside of work is finding a project to tackle around the house, going to the gym or long walks with my fiance and our dog, Prince.

Most of my career in stone has been dedicated here to HRSW. I’ve been in the industry for 15 years and counting. I really enjoy walking through the warehouse to see the natural stone we stock here. Each week brings new beauty to offer our customers. These slabs truly turn our customers’ countertops into a work of art. I really like the dynamic here at HRSW. Every department works with each other to produce a premium product. Being a part of the growth and direction this company is going has been truly amazing. When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my daughter, investing time at the gym, and reading nonfiction books.

My career started here at HRSW fresh out of high school answering phones. I was going to college for design and I knew quickly I was already at the place I wanted to be. In my 10 years here I’ve pushed myself to learn everything possible about the stone business and I pride myself with that knowledge. What I love about HRSW is its relentless efforts to be the best in the business. Not a day goes by that we aren’t working tirelessly to improve our machinery, process, and customer service. It sounds cheesy, but being at work all the time is honestly my guilty pleasure. When I’m not at work on Sundays you can find me exploring the best places in Metro Detroit to enjoy an amazing brunch!
